Psalm 121 :Protection 15ML

Psalms 121: Protection is a conjured protection oil rooted in prayer, preservation, and the spiritual covering of the women within your lineage.

The mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunties, and matriarchs who knew how to call on God when their family needed protection.

Psalm 121 begins:

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” — Psalm 121:1

There were women before you who knew what it meant to look toward the hills. When they couldn’t physically fix something, when they couldn’t be everywhere their children were, and when circumstances were beyond their control, they prayed.

They knew where their help came from.

Verse 2 answers:

“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2

This oil serves as a reminder that you do not walk through this life uncovered and alone.

The same God your matriarchs called upon is the God they trusted to cover the generations coming behind them.

Then the Psalm speaks about a protection that does not sleep.

“He that keepeth thee will not slumber.” — Psalm 121:3

“Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” — Psalm 121:4

This is the heart of Psalms 121: Protection. It represents protection that remains watchful. Even when you are sleeping, unaware, traveling, working, or simply living your life, you are reminded that divine protection is not careless or inattentive.

And then comes the promise of preservation:

“The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.” — Psalm 121:7

This is deeper than simply asking to be protected from something happening around you. It speaks to the preservation of you—your soul, your spirit, and the life God has given you.

Finally:

“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” — Psalm 121:8

That is continuing protection.

Protection when you leave home and protection when you return. Protection over where you are now and where you are going. Protection today and protection carried forward.

Psalms 121: Protection honors the women in your lineage who understood this kind of prayer—the women who called your name before God, prayed over their children and grandchildren, and asked that the generations coming after them be kept.

This conjured oil can be worn on the body as part of your personal protection and prayer practice. It can be used while reading Psalm 121 and in workings.

You come from women who looked toward the hills.

You come from women who prayed for preservation.

You come from women who prayed that you would be kept in your going out and your coming in.

Their prayers did not stop with them. They are still working!
